For years, we have been making handmade yard and fabric items to raise funds. That will continue to grow as more artists in the area are sharing and donating their skills to the cause. The investment in goods and services from your local businesses and nonprofits goes so much further and stays within the community. I am pretty good at knitting and blanket making, I have even made an entire pet-sized couch out of yarn!
